Lemongrass

Widely cultivated all over the world, this grass is steam-distilled from fresh or partly dried leaves. This tufted perennial grass has been found to grow very well on the east coast of South Africa, where we are growers are producing this oil for the flavor and fragrance industry.  Lemongrass oil is a yellow or amber colored oil with a strong, fresh herbaceous and citrus odor.
